Loreto Grammar School, Omagh

Criteria: Loreto Grammar is an all-girls school in Omagh with a long and proud history in Education. Our brief was to provide a large two-story extension to the existing school to allow for a number of temporary mobile classrooms to be removed from the site. The innovation we introduced to the modular classroom design, was to use a coloured rain-screen cladding system. This created a distinctive architectural contrast to the previous school buildings. The strong contrasting colours give a cost-effective sense of quality and modernity to the project
