Criteria: This design is a modern interpretation of the traditional rural barn farm. It also reflects the traditional Irish ‘Long House’ which is a recognised archetype for the historical dual-aspect dwelling within the landscape.

The orientation and shape of the buildings are oriented toward the southwest and also have a pleasing view of the site.
