Criteria: This Eco Home is designed in a contemporary style with references to the landscape in both the timber board and the sedum roof. The site is steeply sloping overlooking the headland. The house is designed to cling to the hillside creating a drastic form in the landscape and creating a picture window view in the main living space. The original dwelling has been replaced with a dynamic structure which faces the view to the sea whilst attempting to float on the landscape. The simple form and timber cladding reflects the landscape setting and allows the building to blend with its setting.
